Provincial buses, sadly, are not yet back in operation just like what Spox Harry Roque said in this video. Although, this should be understandable as the movement of people from cities to the provinces and vice versa would significantly increase the cases in the countryside.
The fact that the provincial bus operations has not restarted yet still might confuse you so here’s a photo shared in Facebook that went viral to better understand the situation.
The attendant advised that the First North Luzon Transit terminal in Monumento offers provincial bus rides going to and from Meycauayan.
If you want to see for yourself the current situation in Avenida, then watch the video below. It also would not hurt if you subscribe and click the bell icon to get new video updates.
Please disregard the info below as it was posted before the pandemic. It is being used as a basis for comparison. Thank you!
The Bataan Transit in Avenida connects this part of Manila and Bataan. Its bus terminal here is so roomy that Bataan Transit is sharing it with Five Star Bus Company or maybe the other way around. If you consider Wikipedia as a reputable source nowadays, it says there that the Pangasinan Five Star Bus Company Inc is actually the parent company of Bataan Transit though I was not able to find a credible source to validate this. Si don’t get surprised if you see a Five Star bus in the background.

The Bataan Transit terminal in Avenida is situated at the corner of Doroteo Jose St and Oroquieta Rd. As mentioned, its terminal is spacious that it is expected that the terminal has ample seats for passengers waiting for a bus. Security personnel are visible but this part of Manila is notorious for pick pockets, there are even signs along the road giving warning to the passengers. ATMs are also available at the LRT station or in 7-11.
There’s plenty of convenience stores to choose from along Doroteo Jose St. If you prefer other heavy meals, walk towards the LRT Station, you will see 7-11, Mang Inasal, Jollibee and others.
Along Rizal Avenue, there are several makeshift stores for souvenirs or go to the Ordeon Terminal Mall for more options.
